<p>A highly reliable positive temperature coefficient thermistor in which no silver migration occurs even under a high-temperature, high-humidity condition. The main feature of this invention is that the thermistor has first electrode layers (2a, 2b, 3a and 3b) including a silver layer formed on both main surfaces of a positive temperature coefficient thermistor body (1) in such a way that their ends are inside the outer periphery of the blank body (1) and second electrode layers (4a and 4b) formed of aluminum and covering the surfaces and side faces of the first electrode layers.</p> |
