CONSTITUTION: A printer is instructed in that a printing medium is supplied to the printer and images 40; 200 selected from a plurality of elements 44-48; 202-208 are printed on the printing medium. Next, the elements 44-48; 202-208 are discriminated and a teaching step is adjusted corresponding to the discrimination result to control the printing of the hardcopy 40 of the printer. A collection step collecting the statistic values related to the elements is added.
