METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING RADIO BASE STATION IN PHP SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To control a radio base station at real time by controlling the base station in accordance with a control signal outputted from a centralized control station. CONSTITUTION:The centralized control station 12 is provided with plural radio base station corresponding parts 20 each of which has a mutual conversion function between an optical signal and an electric signal on an optical transmission line 14 and a function for inserting a signal for controlling each radio base station 10. Each base station 10 transmits a burst signal to each mobile station 16 by a time slot individually allocated to the station 16 and receives a burst signal sent from the station 16 by the allocated time slot. A control signal superposed to a signal to be sent from the station 12 to the station 10 through the line 14 in order to control transmitting operation from the station 10 is transmitted from the station 12 to the station 10.
