A plurality of wire contacts 40 moulded in an insulating block 42 are clamped in position between clamping surfaces 29, 33, of two insulating members 23, 22 and are biased towards fixed contacts 37 by co-operation with a protuberance 25 of member 23. The block 42 is centred in a cavity 44 formed in the two members 22, 23 and the clamping surfaces ensure that the wire contact springs emerge from the members 22, 23 in the same plane. A second insulating block 43 carrying wire contacts 41 which co-operate with the fixed contacts 37 is mounted between member 22 and a member 24 identical with member 23. A spring biased comb 50, actuated by the armature of an electromagnet, moves the wire contacts. The fixed contacts 37 are made of a copper-nickel alloy with a noble metal contact surface and the wires are a precious metal alloy. |
