Laminated metal of use as a structural member which provides a combination of properties which correspond to those of the separate components of the metal, particularly a combination of elastic properties. It comprises two or several layers of metallic material firmly secured to each other, each of the layers having an elastic property that exhibits anisostropical behaviour. The maximum value of elastic properties appears in each layer in another direction than in the respective neighbouring layer.
