Molecular sieve products in the form of pellets, extruded products, granules or fragments having various other shapes essentially comprise molecular sieve grains having sizes greater than one micron, and prepared according to Specification 1,097,860, and a binder. The binder may be active alumina prepared by partially dehydrating alumina trihydrate in a current of hot gas, and crushing the products to a grain size of less than 10 to 20 microns. The Example relates to a 4A molecular sieve in grains ranging from 30 to 100 microns pelleted with active alumina. Other binders mentioned are silica, clay and cement. |
