Neutralisation of drinking water. Addition of excess of half-burnt dolomite or limewater is avoided by using a mixing apparatus, controlled by a pH or conductivity measuring cell for the deacidified water. Part stream of the deacidified water is heated, before entry into or while it is present in the measuring cell, to 20 - 100 degrees C and pref. to 30 - 60 degrees C. |
