The boards are removably arranged radially around the drum periphery between the drum end faces and are spaced from each other. At least one hot air fan provides an air stream radially to the drum to pass between the boards. Pref. at least one table top is provided whose upper edge, corresponds with the horizontal board position so that a board on which a hide is clamped can be inserted.
