The wiring system, for mock-up experimental circuits in laboratories, has parallel current rails running across an insulating board and arranged in pairs so that one in each pair connects with one orthogonal edge rail and the other with a second edge rail along the board's other side edge. Both edge rails are connected to a terminal block fixed to the end edge of the board. The current rails have hooked tags which pass through holes in the board and are bent over to hold the rails in place. Electronic components are mounted directly onto the rail pairs. The advantage of the system lies in its requiring no additional connections between rails and components, and in its rails being available in prefabricated standard lengths.
