1,195,526. Photographic reversal processing. AGFA - GEVAERT A.G. Jan. 24, 1969 [Feb. 14, 1968], No.4065/69. Heading G2C. In photographic reversal processing in which an imagewise exposed silver halide material is developed in a black-and-white developer and the remaining silver halide is subsequently fogged and developed, the second development is carried out in the presence of a boranocarbonate, e.g. of sodium or potassium, as a fogging agent. The boranocarbonate may be present in the second developer or in a bath which precedes the second development. The silver halide material may be black and white, a colour-coupler-containing colour material or a silver-dye-bleach material. |
