发明名称 HIGH-STRENGTH PORCELAIN AND PRODUCTION THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a high-strength porcelain with a small blended amount of alumina and thin and lighten a product and make large-sized. CONSTITUTION:In a porcelain obtained by sintering a ceramic raw material, the ceramic raw composition comprises 5-20wt.% of alumina powder having 0.8-11mum average particle diameter, 0.25wt.% of quartz powder, 25-35wt.% of feldspar and 35-45wt.% of clay (with the proviso that the total of alumina and quartz is <=30wt.%) to provide the high-strength porcelain. The ceramic raw material is mixed, molded and baked at <=1,300 deg.C. A high-strength porcelain having a low specific gravity can be readily and efficiently produced with a small blended amount of alumina in excellent moldability at a relatively low baking temperature. A product is made thin, lightweight and large and the cost thereof can be reduced. High dispersibility is obtained, sintering properties are improved and a high-strength porcelain having a few defect can be provided by using alumina powder having 0.8-11mum average particle diameter as the alumina powder.
