Clearing oil pollution with foam material - binding the oil

The foam material is produced at the polluted site by spraying a reactive mixture onto the oil to generate a foam material, with a cross-linking rate of more than 100, pref. polyurethane. Pref., a reactive mixture is used which contains polyether-triol, an isocyanate component, particularly methylene diisocyanate and/or toluylene diisocyanate or polymethylene polyphenylisocyanate, and an activator, particularly triethylene diamine and/or tin octoate.
