A worm feed in a delivery trough below a feed hopper, all mounted in a frame or housing is driven by a free wheel type mechanism the operating lever for which is actuated by a roller follower running on a motor driven eccentric. The lever has an external adjuster and a return spring so that the amplitude of its oscillation and hence the worm speed can be varied. The whole frame is vibrated via spring coupling from a normal reciprocating mass type electromagnetic vibrator. |
