The windscreen or rear window consists of several layers, with an intermediate liquid layer, next to a glass layer. The liquid is connected to a shock-absorbent system e.g. a high pressure valve or a piston in a cylinder. The liquid layer is limited on either side by a solid layer, consisting of an elastic synthetic material, or of glass, which is elastically suspended. This is at least partly displaced in the direction towards the glass pane, when the shock absorbent medium reacts. |
