The supply channel of the processing tool has a mixing unit for the mixing in of boundary layers. The unit consists of a body, which extends over the complete cross-sections of the channel, and which has two channels. The inlet apertures of the channels are each positioned on one side of a first axial central plane, of the supply channel. The channels lead through opposite sloping abutment surface into spaces on either side of a second central plane, at right angles to the first one. The channel walls guiding the boundary layers to be mixed in have a run-off eddy on the outlet side, which slopes towards the second central plane. |
