PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject composition containing a bonded product and/or a complex of a concentrated and/or purified virus and a neutralizing antibody, effective for promoting the immunocompetence of human and animal and imparting with sufficient protecting capability against viruses having high mutation degree. SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical composition for the prevention and/or treatment of viral diseases caused by viruses having high mutation degree or existing in various genetic patterns and/or sub-types is produced by using a bonded material or a complex containing (A) a concentrated and/or purified virus or its fragment and (B) a neutralizing antibody. The purification of virus is preferably carried out e.g. by filtration with a nano-filter. The neutralizing antibody is preferably a phylactic antibody originated from plasma or a plasma fraction. The objective composition is suitable for intravenous injection, transmucous administration, etc. The composition is preferably used for the prevention of viral hepatitis type C among viral diseases. |
