The present invention relates to a sealing device for a window opening with fixed or movable glass or window pane, especially for the door of a motor vehicle, of the type comprising a first portion for fixing and mounting on the rabbet of the window opening suitable for being partially or totally closed by the said glass or window pane and sealing lips intended to come into contact with the glass or window pane, characterised in that it comprises a second portion (3) linked to the first portion (1) by a zone (4) which is sufficiently flexible and deformable in order to allow their relative movement and the hooking of the said second portion by clipping over an anchoring edge of the bodywork or of the door of the vehicle.
