<p>Water, free for disinfectant, is filtered through active carbon of specific charge capacity less than 4 h-1. At least 0.05 mg./litre (pref. 0.1 - 0.3) of chlorine or other disinfectant is then added. Water is practically free from microorganisms and conditions for their growth are nto favourable.</p> |
