The method comprises the steps of taking a picture of the number of a passing car by means of a supervising camera in a road to allow the car to pass; converting an analog signal of the number of the car into a digital signal to be read; storing the data on the number of the car in a base; storing the stroed number in a mean base to be transferred; and discriminating and inquring the vehicle passage distance and the number of the car under use of the stored data.
