A set of an improved nail and a holder designed specifically to hold the nail during a nail driving action; the nail consisting of a straight shank having a point at each opposite end so that both ends are driven into two objects which are intended to be fastened together, and the holders consisting of a hammering implement wherein the head has a groove in which a middle part of the shank side is seated, and a spring steel band is then pulled tight around it so to firmly grip the nail in the groove while the nail is then hammered into one of the objects.
