A method of and a device for manufacturing hollow glass articles, in which glass charges cut from a stream of molten glass are shaped into blanks which are transferred onto carriers and which are subsequently blown into hollow articles by a forming operation. Because, according to the invention, the shaped blanks are exclusively displaced according to a two-dimensional movement pattern of movement during their transfer to the carriers, the transport time of the blanks can be reduced so that the overall process can be performed more quickly. |
