The receiver is provided with a measurement unit, it has a device for switching from one range to another using diodes, and the measurement attenuator is divided into a step attenuator at the input of the device and there is a continuously variable attenuator following the i.f. amplifier. A directly indicating amplifier is provided for each i.f. and is tuned to it. The receiver control voltage is ineffective for the measurement process. There are separate VHF radio tuners and TV tuners, and range switching may be accomplished with the aid of pushbuttons.
