PURPOSE:To provide a ball point pen having ink of a high static viscosity which lowers by rotation of ball in writing time, that is shear reduced viscosity, and preventing the backflow of ink at the time of looking-up writing or receiving an impact, and preventing straight flowing-out of ink when the pen is placed upside down. CONSTITUTION:A tip 6 is fitted at the end of a tube 2 and a step 8 is formed at the rear and communicated with a tip fitting hole 5, the tube 2 with an ink storage section 3 at its rear is formed of an integrally shaped resin molded product, and a spring 9 is energized in a tip inner hole with its rear end in the state of being brought into contact with the tip 8. The rear end of an end ball 6a held rotatably at a tip end is pressed by the end of the spring 9, and the end ball 6a is brought into contact with the inner edge of a ball holding section of the tip 6, ink and a follower 11 following the rear end of the ink as the ink is reduced are contained in the ink storage section 3. |
