The device is for assembling two profiles, one (6) possessing a tubular end (6a) having two parallel faces (9) with two openings (19) which comes into contact with a second profile (7). The device has a gripping cam (2) in cylindrical form and a square assembly (1) in the end (6a) of profile (6). A first part (1a) is mounted in longitudinal grooves (8) on the base (7) and a second part (1b) has a hollow (3) which is housed in the tubular end (6a) of the profile (6). The hollow (3) of the square assembly (1) defines a passage (12) which is not circular.
