PURPOSE:To improve the heat exchanging efficiency by a method wherein a regenerator is utilized both for cold and hot water regeneration within a short time with the least mixing cold water with hot water. CONSTITUTION:A heat pump cycle comprises a compressor 8, air heat exchanger 9, capillary tube 10, heat exchanger 11 and four way valve 12 while a regenerator side circuit comprises a heat exchanger 11, four way valve 13, pump 14 and regenerator tank 15. When hot water is stored in winter time, low temperature water is led out of the lower part of the regenerator 15 to be forwarded to the heat exchanger 11 through the intermediary of the four way valve 13 and the pump 14 for heating up to high temperature and returning to the upper part of said regenerator 15. On the other hand, when cold water is stored in summer time, hot temperature water is led out of the upper part of the regenerator 15 and after cooling by means of the heat exchanger 11, returned to the lower part of said regenerator 15 through the intermediary of the pump 14 and the four way valve 13. |
