PURPOSE:To decrease a number of part items of a device and perform its cost down, by providing an actuator to a throttle valve in an engine equipped with the cylinder injection device of fuel and performing engine speed control at idle time and exhaust gas recirculation control with a single of the actuator. CONSTITUTION:Intake air is supplied to a cylinder 8 through an air cleaner 2, throttle chamber 4 and an intake pipe 6. An injector 12 injecting fuel is provided to the cylinder 8, and high pressure fuel is supplied to a combustion chamber 9. A throttle valve 14 is provided to the chamber 4 and an actuator 15 is connected. A recirculation valve 84 is provided to an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) passage communicated to the intake pipe from an exhaust pipe 10. A control circuit 64, to which various kinds of operation parameters are input, controls a speed of an engine at its idle time by driving the actuator 15, while controls the throttle valve 14 so as to obtain a target air amount calculated from a load and speed at EGR control time, and if the necessity for recirculation is decided, the valve 84 is opened. |
