PURPOSE:To facilitate the electron gun to be cooled by water through radiation of the electron beam from the electron gun placed around a target, and to enable X-rays with high brightness to be generated by means of electron beams with high intensity coming from a ring-like filament. CONSTITUTION:Thermions coming from filaments 22 and 23 which are disposed around a target are accelerated, deflected and become electron beams 23 and 33 respectively (23 is deflected, by 180 deg. 33 is deflected by 270 deg.). The surfaces of water-cooled copper targets 21 and 31 are irradiated by means of said electron beams 23 and 33, and X-rays 24 and 34 are generated respectively. |
