PURPOSE:To provide an electric fusion coupler which is formed simply to the extent that there is no problem of a shape in ejection forming and in which there is no flow-out of resin from an opening part at the time of fusion, in an electric fusion coupler made of thermoplastic resin having a large opening diameter whose nominal diameter is 100A or more. CONSTITUTION:When a distance from a coupler opening end to an electric heating wire nearest to the opening end is set as l0, a distance from the electric heating wire nearest to the opening end to an electric heating wire nearest to the center part of a coupler is set as l1, and a distance from the opening end to the position of a part having an equal wall thickness is set as L, the relation of L>=l0+0.6.l1 is satisfied, and the wall thickness from the opening end to the position of a part of equal wall thickness is set to 14mm or more and loss than 17mm. |
