<p>PURPOSE:To perform the sensible operation by feeding back dynamically the result of simulation. CONSTITUTION:When the current calculated by the simulation device 3 is applied to an electric heater 15 to feed the dynamic reaction back to the hand of a user, the temperature of the heater 15 rises and then the temperature of a shape-memory alloy element 14 also rises. As a result, the length of the element 14 increases and a flat plate is pressed to a rotor 12, and the revolution of the rotor 12 is suppressed by the frictional force generated between the plate and the rotor 12. When a screw is reversely turned, since the device 3 stops the feedback of the dynamic reaction, a signal to stop the supply of current to the heater 15 is sent to a controller 2. As a result, the temperature of the heater 15 falls via the controller 2 and the temperature of the element 14 also falls to eliminate its extending stress, and the element 14 recovers its original shape by its own spring effect.</p> |
