PURPOSE:To obtain the tail sealing method where the tail part can be easily found and bending is not generated, by applying paste onto the inside a little inner from the tail-side edge in the tail part of a taken-up paper sheet and cutting said paper sheet by blowing air onto the both sides of the cutting part of a log saw. CONSTITUTION:Application of paste is carried-out by jetting-out paste onto the tail part 2 of a log 1 from a plurality of nozzle chips 3. Then, the pipes 9 equipped with an air nozzle for blowing the tail part 2 of the log 1 in the direction of taking-up the tail part 2 are installed onto the both sides of a log saw 8, and the tail part 2 of a product M cut in a prescribed width by the log saw 8 and the tail part 2 of the log 1 successively cut by the log saw 8 are blown- out in the direction of taking-up the log 1, and continuous cutting is carried-out, preventing bending or turning-over. |
