PURPOSE:To make a belt run stably extending over a necessary section by forming a shape of a press-contact part to a belt body of a control member, in a specified circular arc shape. CONSTITUTION:A control member 26 having a circular arc-shaped press-contact surface of a radius R is held so as to contact by pressing to a belt 10 in a section Q1-Q2 when a contact start point to the belt in a roller 12 side, and a contact end point in the second roller 14 side are denoted as Q1 and Q2, respectively, and the belt 10 is made to run in the tangential direction of the circular arc- shaped press-contact surface, in the contact end point Q2 where the belt 10 is separated from the circular arc-shaped press-contact surface. As a result, when the belt 10 is separated from the control member 26, a sudden variation of a running path is not generated in the belt 10, and with regard to the section Q1- Q2, too, a gentle running path having a constant curvature is formed, and a stable running state of the belt 10 is obtained. |
