PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of bonding, by transferring and positioning a film carrier subjected to a predetermined tension, and thereafter, by fixing and holding the film carrier at positions upstream and downstream of a bonding position with the use of fixing members. CONSTITUTION:A tape carrier 1 wound off from a supply reel 2 and wound up onto a wind-up reel 3 is fed at predetermined pitches in the direction A by mean of a feed sprocket 4 while being subjected to a predetermined tension in the direction C by means of a tension sprocket 7. At this stage the carrier 1 is positioned by a positioning pawl 12 which is urged by a resilient member 12 and fitted into a pair of perforations formed at predetermined pitches on both side edges of the carrier. In this condition, by extending cylinders 22, 22a the carrier 1 is clamped and fixed between the bottom surfaces 24, 24a of fixing members 23, 23a and guides 11. Thereafter, a required bonding operation is carried out by lowering a heatseal 16. |
