ELECTRICAL MOLD CLAMPING MECHANISM OF MOLDING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To keep a calmping force at the place nearest to a rotary member to move a movable panel by providing a mold clamping force keeping mechanism to fix the rotary member on the fixed stock behind the movable panel throught a brake gear. CONSTITUTION:The brake mechanism 32 is energized and the opening, closing and clamping of a mold are conducted. The instant the brake device 32 is made free from an energizing state when molds 14, 14 are closed and clamped by the move of the movable panel 13, braking action occurs by the coil spring 40 to keep mold clamping force. Though the turning effort to the transmission shaft 18 is released by the operation of the clutch mechanism the mold clamping force against injection pressure is retained.
