PURPOSE:To improve the stability of a gyro-rotor by connecting the gyro-rotor to a rotary shaft of a gyro-motor among gyro-devices which perform the precession while a rolling object is rolled via a flexible joint. CONSTITUTION:The gyro-devices 24 and 25 contain gyro-rotors 30 and 31 at both end parts of a platform PLF21 connected to a post 23 fixed at the deck of a ship. For devices 24 and 25, an end of flexible joint springs 28 and 29 respectively is welded to rotary shafts 261 and 271 of motors 26 and 27 fixed to the PLF21 respectively. While the ends of the other sides of springs 28 and 29 are welded to spin shafts 301 and 311 of rotors 30 and 31 respectively. When the ship has rolling motions, the tilting torque of the PLF21 acts on rotors 30 and 31. Therefore rotors 30 and 31 have the precession round precession shafts 302 and 312 and are revolved obliquely out of a perpendicular shaft. In this case, the revolving power of motors 26 and 27 are transmitted via springs 28 and 29. Thus no torque restricting the precession of rotors 30 and 31 is produced. |
