PURPOSE:To prevent possible staining due to loading of ink or any contact following the printing by irradiating ultraviolet rays immediately after the inkjetting employing an ultraviolet ray hardening type ink for an inkjet printer. CONSTITUTION:An ultraviolet ray hardening type ink is used for the ink to be jetted from an inkjet head. This ink is preferably composed of a photopolymerizing prepolymer (e.g. polyester acrylate), a polymerizing monomer (1,6-hexanedioldiacrylate), a reactive diluting agent for adjusting viscosity (2-ethylhexyl acrylate), an adjunct for initiating reaction (e.g. benzophenone), an intensifier (e.g. aliphatic amine), a stabilizing agent (e.g. quaternary ammonium chloride), a coloring agent and the like. The irradiation of ultraviolet rays is preferbly done with a lamp 10 covering the entire width of recording paper or a lamp 9 beside the head 5 for a serial printer. |
