PURPOSE:To effectively prevent ink from back flowing even if an ink containing duct having a large inner diameter to contain a large quantity of ink is used by providing excellent form stability of viscous fluid in a writing appliance having ink back-flow preventing viscous fluid moving as the ink is consumed and arranged on a back surface of the ink contained in the duct. CONSTITUTION:The writing appliance comprises a front wall 6 of the shape formed along a boundary shape between viscous fluid 4 and ink as form stable material 5 for the fluid 4 and a protrusion 7 for forming a small gap to an inner peripheral wall 8 of an ink containing duct 1 at a front part. Further, the appliance comprises a peripheral wall 9 having a smaller inner diameter than that of the duct 1 and provided at a rear part in such a manner that the wall 6 of the material 5 is disposed at a position separate from the boundary in the fluid 4 and a surface of the fluid at the atmospheric side is disposed in an annular gap formed between the wall 6 of the material 5 and the wall 8 of the duct 1. |
