PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. which is excellent in fluid circulation stability, plate out amt., lubricating property,etc. and facilitates control of rolling operation, and which comprises a lubricating oil component and a particular compd. CONSTITUTION:A polymeric substance of formula I-II (wherein B is -CH3, R1O-; R<1> is a 1-18C straight-chain or branched alkyl; D is H, CH3; n<2> is 5-1,000; n<3> is 1-3; and n<4> is n<2>) is reacted with an amine compd. selected from among N-aminoethylpiperidine, N-aminopropylpiperidine, N-aminoethyl-4- pipecoline, etc., thereby obtaining a reactive imide compd. (iii). A lubricating oil component (a) selected from among animal and vegetable oils, mineral oils and fatty acid esters is mixed with 0.1-10wt.% at least one member selected from a vinyl ether-maleic anhydride copolymer (i) having repeating units of formula III (wherein R<2>-R<3> are each H or R<1>; A is a 1-10C straight-chain or branched alkyl, -R<6>-O-R<7>; R<6>-R<7> are each a 1-4C alkyl; and n<1> is n<2>), a styrene-maleic acid copolymer (ii) having repeating units of formula IV and component (iii). |
