摘要 PURPOSE:To detect the cutting load of a tool in stable ways and permit the monitoring work by selecting the feed speed control according to an AE signal in finishing work on the basis of the result of the judgement of a judging means which judges the finishing work and rough work and selecting the feed speed control according to a working load electric current in rough work. CONSTITUTION:A working state judging part 18 judges if the work carried out at present is finishing work or rough work from an AE signal value NAS, main spindle load electric current NMI, kind of a tool which is previously registered in a tool condition register part 110, tool diameter, material of a workpiece as working object, etc. The result of the judgement is transmitted into a comparison calculation selecting signal generation part 19, and in case of finishing work, said generation part 19 outputs a comparison signal CM1 to be compared with a threshold value TH1 only in an AE signal comparison calculation part 15, while in case of rough work, said generation part 19 transmits a comparison signal CM2 to be compared with a threshold value TH2 only in a main shaft load electric current comparison calculation part 16. A speed control signal FS is outputted according to the result of the comparison calculation on the selected side.
