The heat exchanger is built up of individual trays and has an inlet (2) and outlet (3) on one side in adjacent configuration. Each is connected to a plenum chamber (4a,4b), with the chambers interconnected by tubes (8) with cooling fins (10). The chambers are on the opposite outer sides of the exchanger. Pref. there is a passage (7) between one of them and the inlet or outlet, formed by a separate tray (16) incorporated in the exchanger without a weld seam. |
