PURPOSE:To easily and promptly adjust damping force by enabling an axial cylinder to adjust its diameter by a transmitting mechanism able to be controlled from the outside. CONSTITUTION:An axial cylinder 8 is constituted of an adjusting shaft 8a, pair of arms 8b, 8b and a pair of half-split cylinders 8c, 8c. When an adjusting knob 9b is turned by the desired amount of rotation, the adjusting shaft 8a rotates causing the arms 8b, 8b to be also turned, and the axial cylinder 8 enables its diameter to be decreased by placing the half-split cylinders 8c, 8c to an axial center side while to be increased by separating the half-split cylinders 8c, 8c from the axial center side. Accordingly, damping force can be adjusted to the required preset value. |
