PURPOSE:To improve the coating of carriers for a toner image and a transfer paper with a lubricity imparting agent, in an image forming device for a copying machine, etc. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is provided with a coating device 10 having the lubricity imparting agent 11 of solidified zinc stearate, etc., and a coating brush 12 attached to contact/separate with/from a transfer belt 8 and driven to rotate. The coating brush 12 contacts/separates with/from the transfer belt 8 by a solenoid 13. Then, the imparting agent 11 is scraped by the coating brush 12 rotated in the contact state with the transfer belt 8, it is coated with the imparting agent 11 stuck to the coating brush 12 in a shape like powder and a photoreceptor l is coated with the imparting agent 11 from the transfer belt 8 as well. |
