摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material reduced in the fading of a recording image and the yellowing of a background part against light exposure and excellent in running properties at the time of recording. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material wherein a thermal recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored leuco dye and a coupler and a protective layer are provided on a support, a microcapsule including a UV absorber and substantially having no color forming capacity and 20-150% by wt. of the microcapsule of aluminum hydroxide with an average particle diameter of 0.5-3.0mum are contained in the protective layer.
