<p>PURPOSE:To improve a characteristic by changing the height of each electrode so that an electron emission direction can be completely unparallel to a substrate. CONSTITUTION:Electrons are emitted from the tip part of an electron emission electrode 4 based on the principle of field emission, in which a main element is biased between an electron emission electrode 4 and a drawing-out electrode 3 in vacuum and the latter is made positive electric potential. At that time, most of the emitted electrons are led to a gate electrode 2 and a collector electrode 1 by installing the drawing-out electrode 3 slightly under the horizontal direction of the electron emission electrode 4 in order to prevent the deterioration of a vacuum tube characteristic due to the spreading of the electrons. When electric potential applied to a gate is made negative at the time that the electrons pass the gate electrode 2, the electrons are decelerated and the number of electrons reaching the collector electrode 1 is reduced, and thereby amplification and oscillation actions can be surely made.</p> |
