PURPOSE:To decrease the number of parts and to simplify constitution by disposing a tension roller in the form of bringing this roller into pressurized contact by an energizing means from the outer peripheral surface side of a belt and having an electrifying function to electrify the belt-like photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The tension roller 6 is brought into pressurized contact with the belt-like photosensitive body 3 on its outer peripheral surface and is provided with the electrifying function. The constitution of the belt-like photosensitive unit 3 is simplified and the cost is reduced in this way. the specified contact of the tension roller 6 is obtd. and the unequal electrification is prevented. Further, the contact area is increased by adopting the constitution to enclose the tension roller 6 with the belt-like photosensitive body 3 and, therefore, the uniformity of the contact is maintained and the selection of the material of the tension roller 6 from a wider range is possible. |
