CONSTITUTION: A dye image recording element is obtained by using a support having an electrophilic compd. reacting with a coupling agent having a structure represented by the formula I (wherein X is halogen, a substd. or unsubstd. alkylsulfonyl oxy or the like;, E<1> , E<2> , E<3> and E<4> are respectively independently hydrogen substd. or unsubstd. 6 or less C alkenyl or alkyl or the like; B<1> and B<2> are an atom necessary for forming a 5- or 6-membered ring along with a carbonyl portion of E<1> , E<2> or E<3> according to circumstances; B<3> is hydrogen or an atom necessary for forming a 5- or 6-membered ring along with a carbonyl portion of E<1> according to circumstances; and n is 0 to 1) to form an arylidene dye. |
