SOLUTION: This vehicular drive has an internal combustion engine 11, a transmission 12, a clutch device 14 freely detachably placed between the internal combustion engine 11 and the transmission 12, an electric motor 51 connected to the transmission 12, an actuator 71 for engaging and disengaging the clutch device 14, a shift detection means for detecting shifts made by the driver, and a controller. The controller includes a clutch release means, which disengages the clutch device 14 when shifts are detected by the shift detection means, and a clutch engagement means which engages the clutch device 14 when no shifts are detected. |
