PURPOSE:To perform flash photographing whose reliability is high by selecting a mode performing normal light emission without performing preliminary light emission when the reliability of evaluated result based on the preliminary light emission is lowered. CONSTITUTION:The system is provided with a releasing button 4 being an ON/OFF switch permitting/inhibiting the flash light emission of an electronic flash device 2. Modes which can be selected by an exposure mode selecting means 5 are a program mode, an aperture priority mode, a shutter priority mode, and a manual mode. The photographing modes which can be selected by a photographing mode means 6 are a silhouette mode, a landscape mode, a sport mode, a portrait mode, a souvenir picture mode, and a close-up mode. In this case, when a command dial 7 is turned while pressing the exposure mode selecting means 5, the exposure mode is changed in this order; the program mode the aperture priority mode the shutter priority mode the manual mode the program mode. Furthermore, when the command dial 7 is turned while pressing the photographing mode selecting means 6, the photographing mode is changed in this order; the silhouette mode the landscape mode the sport mode the portrait mode the souvenir picture mode the close-up mode the silhouette mode. |
