PURPOSE:To obtain a compact, complicated-shaped R-Fe-B sintered anisotropic magnet by preventing reaction between R-component and binder and deterioration in magnetic characteristics due to carbon and oxygen remaining in a molded body without using a great magnetizing current. CONSTITUTION:Sufficient visco-elasticity can be obtained for R-Fe-B-based alloy powder even though a binder containing mostly water is utilized; if water and polyacryloamide, which will have a higher viscosity when dissolved in water, are used; or if water and methyl cellulose, which will cause sol-gel modification by polyacryloamide and a predetermined temperature, are used; or a small amount of lubricant is further used. And the amount of carbon in total binder can be greatly reduced, moldability during injection molding can be improved, molding to a predetermined shape can be made by gelling and hardening in a metal mold below 100 deg.C during injection molding and, moreover, almost whole oxygen and carbon remaining in a molded body can be removed by dewatering treatment and binder removing treatment. |
