PURPOSE:To prevent a tape from being out of place and decrease the width of the tape, in a seat belt winding device which transmits the energizing force of an application spring to a reel through the tape, by forming minor roughness in the surface of the tape. CONSTITUTION:Roughness of more than 20mum is formed in the surface of a tape 51. It is desirable that around 35mum should be taken above all. It is desirable that a groove in the longitudinal direction of the tape 51 should be taken as the roughness in the surface of the tape 51. By pulling out a tongue from a buckle 21, a clutch gear 41 is pulled by an additional spring 34 and rotates rapidly, so that the tape 51 in a loose condition is wound and tensed rapidly. At least, it is in a tensed condition and the winding energizing force of the additional spring 34 is also applied to a seat belt B. While the tape 51 is being tensely-wound and loosely-wound, air flows out from a gap between the tapes 51 rapidly, so there is little slide in the width direction of the tape 51. |
