PURPOSE:To form the using method of the power calibratuon area for a DRAW type optical disk capable of obtaining an optimal laser recording power in the OPC once performed by using one partition of a PCA. CONSTITUTION:When OPC is performed in writing information in an optical disk, one partition of the test area of the PCA is divided into a first to third areas ER1-ER3 for every five frames and trial writing is performed once in one area. Consequently, since one partition is used for single OPC and an optimal laser recording power and a pulse correction value most suitable for recording are obtained, even when a CD in which 99 pieces of music are recorded is manufactured, plural partitions are not used for performing the single OPC and the CD after a standard is manufactured. |
